Description
Finally finished the color layers atop this sketch--I often like to use graphite underlayers in order to get more realistic, muted color tones. In fact I typically use this, unless for characters with extremely vibrant colors that cannot be sullied with graphite powders.
I'm probably going to list this drawing for sale along with the character design once I finish de-curling the paper it's on (lots of wax-based media tends to do that--won't be properly frame-able until it flattens out).
Materials: graphite pencils, graphite powder, Daler-Rowney hard-tip color pencils, Prismacolor soft-core pencils, Blending stubs, 65 lb sketch paper, cotton bristol backing.
This character and art are up for auction! Paypal or money order! Check it out!
